In the Spirit of our foundress St. Julie Billiart, Notre Dame Health Care offers education for life through its Wise and Wondering Programs.

Through experienced and professional staff Notre Dame offers elder care within our Assisted Living, Long Term Care and Hospice programs. We provide compassion, holistic health services, and intellectual, spiritual, and emotional stimulation.

Wise and Wondering extends our mission and expertise into the greater community. Programs are offered by our staff and close working associates. Some programs take place on our campus, others are "on the road" and can be brought to your setting.

First Day of Spring:
A Multi-Faith Celebration

Through story-telling, reflection, silence, music, shared activity
and ritual we will welcome the springtime and “Spring Clean” our lives.

SATURDAY, MARCH 20TH

9:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.

Presenter: Pamela Reidy

Director of Mission Integration, Notre Dame Health Care

The Spring Equinox is celebrated all over the world. It is the time of year when the harsh winter is finally over. Evidence of new growth and life abounds everywhere. For Christians, the Death and Resurrection of Jesus reminds us of the potential for new life. The earth-based religions mark the equinox as a time when light and darkness are balanced and celebrate the sun’s creative power upon the earth. On this day when the day and night are balanced, Buddhists are reminded of their faith’s call to moderation and balance in all things. For Zororoastrians, the first Day of Spring marks Nowruz, the Persian New Year. Join as we rejoice with the earth.
